About the Practice

Mitchell Land Surveyors was established in Sydney in 2008. We work across the full range of land surveying — residential detail and identification surveys, boundary and strata work, and construction set-outs for civil infrastructure including railways, bridges and pipelines.

Every job is handled by a Registered Surveyor from start to finish. The same person who assesses the job is the one on site and responsible for the final plan — ensuring consistency, accountability, and clear decision-making throughout.

The practice has completed nearly 2,900 surveys since 2008, across residential, boundary, construction and strata work throughout Greater Sydney.

Registration

Credentials

All surveys are carried out by, or under the direct supervision of, a Surveyor registered under the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002 (NSW).

The practice holds professional indemnity insurance, public liability cover and workers compensation.

Mitchell Land Surveyors is a member of the Association of Consulting Surveyors NSW, the Institution of Surveyors NSW, and operates under the Professional Standards Scheme.

Projects

Residential work spans detail surveys, construction set-outs and identification surveys — single dwellings through to multi-lot subdivisions and strata developments.

Boundary work has included delimitation surveys, complex plans of redefinition and waterfront licence surveys — cases where historical title evidence and physical evidence on the ground require careful reconciliation.

Construction work has included railway station upgrades, bridge set-outs, large commercial structures and civil pipeline works — projects requiring precise control and full documentation from set-out through to as-builts.

Strata work covers the full service from initial survey and boundary redefinition through to plan lodgement with NSW LRS — duplex subdivisions through to staged developments of over 100 lots.

Various work has included pipe jacking set-outs, as-built documentation and specialist civil surveys across Greater Sydney.
