R3Survey

R3Survey is an add-in for AutoCAD and Civil 3D designed for land surveyors. It extends the standard CAD environment with survey-specific tools — from traverse entry and LandXML import/export through to fully automated field-to-drawing workflows.

What R3Survey does

  • Traverse entry — enter a survey traverse directly into the drawing using bearings and distances in any format
  • Properties panel — instantly read bearings, distances, arc details, and areas from selected entities
  • Smart Strings — automated field-to-drawing workflow: load a survey file and R3Survey draws points and connecting linework, fully styled and layered according to your configuration
  • Survey plan management — organise and isolate drawing layers by survey plan
  • LandXML support — import and export NSW LandXML; import and export Hexagon XML
